Judge relevance, spam, privacy and abuse—not whether feedback is flattering. Critical reviews follow the same rules as praise. Approving publishes only the approved display fields; unpublishing returns a review to pending. Author-requested edits and redactions require approval again. Approval makes a review available through the public review feed, even during private website testing. Never approve practice notes as customer testimonials. Check the Traffic center for current publication and cleanup status.
Do not edit a reviewer’s opinion or score. Verify author requests privately; a matching nickname is not proof. Keep personal information out of the decision history.
